
I am a postdoctoral research fellow at Stanford Medicine on the NIDA-funded Interdisciplinary Research Training in Pain and Substance Use Disorders T32 program. As an epidemiologist and health services researcher, I conduct policy-relevant research at the intersection of addiction, psychiatry, and infectious disease. My work has been published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, American Journal of Public Health, AIDS and Behavior, American Journal of Drug and Alcohol Abuse, Sexually Transmitted Infections, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, LGBT Health, Journal of Urban Health.
My work has been covered in the New York Times, Vox, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, The Wall Street Journal, AIDSMap, and NBC, among other outlets.
